New Multimedia Show in Spain

I will be a Speaker at the AEFONA Congress in Noja, Spain, on the 6th of December 2014. Amongst other projects I will be talking about my new multimedia show, that I launched last week at the great, new Lowland Photo Festival in Belgium.

Also wanted to say thanks to everyone at MontPhoto. I had an excellent time!

A brave bear has died

Humbled by his resilience. Inspired by his determination to survive. Ashamed by human behaviour.

I had the honour of meeting this incredible Brown bear, that had lived for 30 years in a tiny cage on a bear farm in China. He was trapped in a metal corset which forced a tube into his stomach to extract bile for use in traditional Chinese medicine. How could he survive such torture for so many years? In a dramatic rescue in 2010 he was saved by Animals Asia and taken to their sanctuary, where he was cared for and enjoyed his last years of life in peace. He sadly died on the 12th of November.
